3D model description

Improvements for Anet A8 Plus z axis that will use standard motor supports of the printer and standard axis position.

This mod helps to reduce axis wobble and position offset of the motor respect the printer 20x40 t-slot profile.

I suggest 100% infill for stiffness, or 50% with 5 top/bottom and 4 perimeter.

For better result print in PETG, PLA do the job in the same ways.

For the mod you will need the follow things

4 x 608 Ball bearing standard one from Ebay--Amazon...

4 x M3 x15mm screw +washer and M3 nut

2 x M3 x 25mm screw +washer (end stop mount motor side)

1 x M3 x 25mm (or longher) + 2 M3 nut for the z end stop motor side

8 x M5 T-nut (screw washer and t-nut for the profile)

(optional 2 x M2,5 + washer and nut for end stop or reuse standard screw-plast from printer)

The 4 top screws are from printer, only add a big M5 washer (the mod is plastic)

Suggested steps to set up the printer:

Mount ball bearing, M3 screws.., T-nut, end stop .... in the 4 pieces;

Remove z top plates;

Loose a bit screws of motor and t-nuts of the motor support (lose motor coupler both side)

Mount the mods in the printer axis and end stop leg;

Checkand align motor position and tight the motor screws and mod T-nut screws (fix coupler both side);

PAY ATTENTION Set correct end stop position and follow with auto home printer.

Move z axis of the printer to the top and verify the correct position of the 4 top screws (the top holes are bigger but the screws will be close to the hole center if the printer is correct aligned);

Tight 4 t-nut and 4 top screws;

Move z axis up and down to verify the alignment of the printer (if not redo from the begin).

NOTE :

For better print result, use anti backslash screws nut (from amazon or ebay)

This is part of a series of changes to the printer.
