Velociraptor, commonly referred to as "raptor", is one of the dinosaur genera most familiar to the general public due to its prominent role in the Jurassic Park films.
In real life, however, Velociraptor was roughly the size of a turkey, considerably smaller than their reconstruction seen in the novels and films. Feathers is another part entirely missing on the movie franchise.
Today, Velociraptor is well known to paleontologists, with over a dozen described fossil skeletons, the most of any dromaeosaurid.
Our model is based on the skeletal reconstruction of the real Velociraptor. The extent of their feathers is speculative but it is based on the fact that some velociraptor specimen had quill knobs.
Model includes a Pre-supported version.
The model is sized for 1:15 of the actual size. You can reduce or enlarge the model using the slicing software if you need a different size.
Pre-supported model is oriented to minimize supports to the face and other high-detail parts. Care should be taken when removing the supports to avoid damaging the model.
