3D model description

Enclosure for a stock, direct feed, extruder head for the Anet A8.

Covers the blower and heatsink fans, and has a built in cooling duct.

The Cooling duct is separated into two parts, the base and the cover, to avoid un-reachable supports inside the hollow cavity, possibly affecting airflow.

Has mounting holes and bottom pass-through hole for the
"Practical 6 - 36V Auto Leveling Sensor"

Has an easy-access mount for the heatsink fan to quickly slip out the fan and heatsink together, to see what's happening in the extruder.

Work in progress, the top piece and back side are still in the works. Made the current parts future-proof with anticipated mounting holes for the other sides.

LOL Kind of don't know how these will print, as I just got bored waiting for my A8 to arrive, and threw something together. I used the parts I remixed for ques for spacing the parts out, so let me know if anything is off so far. I tried to make it as support-less as I could.

Update: 10/26/2017
I've overhauled the entire enclosure, rounded all the edges and have obsoleted certain features or variants.
I've also switched the cooling nozzle design to embed LittleMrJ's i3 DiggityDank Carriage Nozzle.
Top piece completed and connection mechanisms overhauled.
V1 of the enclosure is no longer included, due to how horrible it was LOL
sorry about that.

Update
Made Top Holes into one large hole, to allow for the extruder feeder more clearance
