A collection of Pollywog monsters for 28mm games, including 5 different designs each presented in 3 different sizes: Tiny, Small, and Medium.
Pre-supported and unsupported files included. Also includes simple printable figure bases.
Also included is a PDF Bestiary containing 5E stats for the Monstrous Pollywogs and other related swamp monsters

They lay great clutches of eggs, and thair giant FROG BEBBIES…hundreds…thousands of ‘em…they come swarmin’ out o’ Slundermush swamp evey odder spring or so. They ahr a plague…a pox on all the lands around the cursed swamp! An’ there ain’t no solution for ‘em!”

The Monstrous Pollywog models are designed to be printed in 3 different sizes, which correspond to common RPG size categories. The Tiny models fit on ½” bases, the Small models fit on ¾” bases, and the Medium figures fit on 1” bases. Simple blank base files are also included, or you can use your own favorite designs. Use your print software to ‘mirror’ the pollywogs for even more variety: you can print a huge swarm and they’ll all seem to be unique!
Dark-Platypus Studio specializes in making models for role-playing game enthusiasts. Our models are designed to be printed in 28mm scale, the perfect size for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or other games that are often played on a 1” grid. They are also designed to stand up to actual tabletop use: no ridiculous spindly bits that look awesome but are going to break the first time someone sneezes. Paintability and ease of assembly are also important concerns to our design aesthetic.
The Monstrous Pollywogs were first released as pewter miniaturse in the DRAGON FROG kickstarter, though a full range of size options are presented here.
