Populate your tabletop gaming with the Illithisk creature from Sol'Kesh.

"Rising from the surf, salt water streaming off its carapace and odd maggot-like pillars, the illithisk paddles its powerful tail to burst out of the shallow tide. With scythe like claws extended it grabs at a nearby villitrex, the pained bark cut short by the mandibles biting deep into its fur. The paralyzing toxins, built up over time by a symbiotic host of urchin on its back quickly silences the canine as the crustacean drags it under the waves.
Like many creatures of the often crowded intertidal zone, the illithisk makes most of an amphibious existence, and although they are often the prey for larger predators, both of land and sea, this crustacean has an advantage by the use of processing a toxin from the urchins that live on its back, able to take down creatures that would otherwise crush its feeble form."
