3D model description

To check, adjust and calibrate the belt tension of your 3D printer evenly on all axes.

If the pointers on the bed and carriage overlap, the belt tension should be correct, - best to test yourself first with correct belt tension beforehand!

Self-tested with an outer toothed belt distance of 15 mm or inner toothed belt distance of 12 mm.

The carriage must move smoothly in the bed if the 3D print of the belt tensioning tool is dimensionally accurate.

Important: Do not remove the carriage from the printer bed after 3D printing until it has cooled down completely, otherwise the "spring" could deform when warm.

The use of the tool for adjusting the toothed belt tension is at your own responsibility and risk. I exclude any liability.

3D printing settings

PLA, bed temperature 60Β°C, slow print speed, 4 or more walls, layer height 0.125 mm, line width 0.4 mm, fill 50%, no supports, no brim or raft, but skirt recommended!
