3D model description

This is an educational model whose objective is to show the different mechanical parts of a helicopter (turbine, main gearbox, main rotor and anti-torque rotor).
The sound of the video is that produced by the model.
The animation of the model is carried out via an Arduino nano.
This controls the following components:
- DFPlayer to play MP3 sound via 2 3W speakers
- DRV8833 to operate the electric motors of the turbines
- Servo SG90 180Β° to operate the tachometers
The entire model is made in 3D printing except for the screws and various accessories (bearings, ball joints, gimbals, tachometer glass, etc.).
I used the Prusa I3 MK3S, Geeetech A10 and Snapmaker A350 printers for this.
The parts are printed in PLA or PETG according to the needs in terms of mechanical resistance.
The total weight of the model (including the support plate) is 8Kg.
The model is made up of 392 3D printed parts weighing 3.2 kg. The printing time for these parts was 367 hours.
