3D model description

As many of us, I printed some face shields (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4233193) to answer to some health actors requests. There is a great initiative in my company to locally support this (Toulouse - France).

I however quickly faced lack of rubber bands : could not deliver finalized items. Shops empty. AMZ delivery ETA too far...
I also got some feedbacks. Too fragile where the Y for the foil ends : some broke. A pitty when we want to serve our health people.
And rubber bands are not easy to properly clean in hospitals. Weak spot (while the foil is easily cleaned with alcohol).

So I looked for a way to get the best with my limited abilities.

Found this one : https://www.youmagine.com/designs/protective-visor-by-3dverkstan ... but did not like the hole punch complexity (did not find mine at home) but liked the no rubber band option. You can even add a standard rubber band if your need tighter fit.
So I merged both designs, adding a "stong" coupling and adding height to design 2 for a tight and strong fit. Seemingly was ok on first attemps. Should be able to endure a lot of on/off changes. On the photo, i used a 240g transparent foil (AMZ). Perfect fit. Drawback : long to print, consumes a lot of material. But I assume reliability can also be appreciated in some contexts.

At last, a huge thanks for main designers. I did nothing than a quick and dirty merge to answer to "urgent" requests in this strange period.

You all take care... Stay at home and print ;-)
