3D model description

This is a 2.5 inch x 1 inch Crop Circle design for a pen blank used in pen turning.
It is designed to be filled with resin and turned on a lathe.

A great option for someone who wants Pen Blanks and does not have a mold. Print the file on any 3D printer and fill with resin to make unique Pen Blanks with any colour resin you choose.

There are two files included. One for a multicolour resin pour where each chamber can be filled with a different colour. And one which makes it easier for a single colour pour where there is a 5mm hole through the centre of the design that lets the resin flow to each chamber.

There is also a 2mm pit on the centre of each end. I would recommend using these as a guide to drill out a small pilot hole before setting up on the lathe.

This is designed to be printed in a pair.

3D printing settings

Print at a 0.2 layer height with a 0.4 nozzle.
Speed and flow are whatever your printer works best at.
