Squid Game - Front Man Mask
Squid Game - Front Man Mask

I attempted to make this mask as 'show-accurate' as possible, although I'm sure there's still room for improvement so I may revisit it in the future! The mask was designed to print best-oriented upside down, and will need supports to hold it up and in the eyes! I have included photos of how to best deal with the supports. The mask fits my face perfectly with a little bit of room to spare. You can always scale up or down, or use a heat gun to make minor adjustments if needed! The 'grates' for the eyes print separately flat on the build plate, I figured this was the best way to make them look great.

Printing Info:
These are just the settings I used to test the model, feel free to use whatever settings work best for you.
- FDM or Resin: FDM, or large format resin. Not much detail though, so no real need for resin.
- Scaling: Current size is 155 x 91 x 222
- Supports: One the bottom and in the eyes. I also used a raft to help improve adhesion.
- Infill/Perimeters: I used 15% with 2 perimeters
- Nozzle Size: 0.6
- Layer Height: I used 0.30 and it turned out well, but a finer layer height will look better depending on your print quality and filament.
Printing, Assembly & Post Processing
- The mask prints best upside down (should already be oriented that way) with supports underneath and in the eyes. Please see the photos in the main folder for a snapshot of how I did my supports.
- The strap slots DO NOT need support if you keep the mask oriented the way it is (they will bridge), so make sure and block supports there if you want a clean bridge. If you have to rotate the mask to fit your build plate they may need supports.
- The eye 'grates' print separately, flat on the build plate, and need to be glued into place afterward.
- The strap slots are big enough to accommodate a 1". I used a stretchy strap I found on Amazon!
