3D model description

Good Evening this is Smokey Speaking!

Who does not know that problem. Owning a DAM, buying the CF20 mags to get the sweet satisfaction of continouus 20 Shots out of your mag without turning it just to find out those fuckers don't fit....god dang it the DAM is too fat -.-

So you get the small brother of an angle grinder called dremel and start to grind of the extra material on the DAM or the mags depending on what hurts more 1200$ marker or 30$ Mags.

BUT we aren't neanderthals! We can use modern technology! proceeds to slam his laptop on his paintball marker
Nope not really....to make it short i build this new part for the Mag Release of the DAM.
Print this thing, unscrew the screw on your mag release button and pull the whole thing out then get the old plumbus from the inside, don't loose the spring like me 3 times and replace it with the printed part.

You still have to shave off a little bit of material from the backside of the mag but that it a lot easier and less messy than making the hole bigger with a knive....and less bloody.

What i found even with perfect precision with the knive the mags still dont feel secure but with that upgraded mag release they pop in and out like the original DAM Mags!

I'd recommend using ABS or PETG. Nylon if your printer can do.
Print it with the hole facing up!
If you plan on using the Box Rotor Test it Thoroughly. With the first two versions it broke for me (PLA) or it just fell out for some reason. This Version at least survived me jumping around to barby girl.

If you want a slightly more stupid description in german visit our homepage under:

Don't judge the site is still WIP

Yours truly
Smokey

3D printing settings

I'd recommend a raft and 100% infill and the highes quality you can get with your printer. The part is small, mine took 20 minutes to print on those settings and you need every bit of Strength you can get.

I also recommend using PETG, ABS or Nylon.
