3D model description

This 3D printable retrofuturistic large pot is the perfect midcentury modern addition to your planter collection, or it makes a great gift for any plant lover or plant parent. Add a post-apocalyptic touch to your home with this Fallout inspired design, printable in your choice of colour. Suitable as a succulent pot or for other plants, this plant pot with legs also has a drainage hole and saucer.

SIZE

This is a large sized indoor plant pot, measuring 20.7cm (8.2in) wide and 21.8cm (8.6in) high. This makes it suitable for medium-largeish indoor plants, and you can scale it up about 25% or so for larger printers without the legs getting too wobbly. If you want a pot that's smaller, you're better off printing the Small or Medium size (available separately and in a set), as the fit of the legs will change with resizing. I do not recommend sizing down as the legs will fit too tight and the walls of the pot will be too thin.

TERMS OF USE

These files are provided strictly for your individual, personal, non-commercial use. This means you can print these as many times as you want for your own plants, or make some to give as gifts to family and friends. But you can't sell them or mass-produce them.

You are not allowed to sell printed versions of these files in any way. Do not print these files for sale. You are only allowed to take money in exchange for printing these files if you are acting as a printing service for an individual who has bought their own copy of the files, charging a reasonable price for print time and materials, but not for the files themselves. You are not allowed to print copies and put them up for sale whatsoever - not in a brick-and-mortar shop or on any online marketplace, not as individual pieces or fully-assembled. This is because I sell printed copies of these myself, and retain the sole right to sell physical versions of them.

If you don't have a 3D printer of your own, you are allowed to transfer the files to a local makerspace, send them to an individual or company who provides printing services, or to a friend or family member with a printer who said they'd print them up for you. If you do transfer the files to get them printed for you, they're not allowed to keep them for their own use without buying their own copy.

You are not allowed to otherwise share, redistribute, or reupload the files anywhere, modified or unmodified, for commercial or non-commercial use, free or pay. You can modify the files as you like for your own personal use (if you want to tweak or scale something for your own printing, go ahead!), but you can't upload, distribute, give away, or sell them, modified or not - no derivatives allowed.

3D printing settings

The pot and legs fit on a 200x200x200mm bed but the drip tray needs at least 207mm in the X and Y dimensions. Print in PLA or PETG. Not suitable for resin. Minimal support needed on the pot and legs - no support needed on the drip tray. Use a cool top solid infill type on the drip tray to make it look extra cool.

Print 4 of the legs and 1 of the pot. The drip tray is optional and separate. Assemble with superglue. A PDF instruction guide is included.
