3D model description

The Castle Heterodyne Dingbot houses a piece of the Castle Heterodyne intelligence that Agatha recovered in Paris when it was being used to take over Paris. See Professors Foglio and Foglio illustrated history of Agatha Heterodyne, Volumes 15--20.

* http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20150810#.X0sjdZNKhR0 p. 75 -- debut of actual Castle Heterodyne intelligence
* http://www.girlgeniusonline.com/comic.php?date=20150831#.X0skIZNKhR0 p. 84 -- first embodiment as a dingbot

General strategy for ball-joints. Insert with flat side aligned with flat part of joint holes, then rotate 90 degrees to hold.

For animated eye, use:
* Circuit Playground Bluefruit -https://www.adafruit.com/product/4333
* TFT Gizmo https://www.adafruit.com/product/4367

Alternate is to use nogizmo_eye.stl
* If using a printer that can stop and change filament, print pupil in different color (black or red) -- M600 on Prusa
* Maybe use white for base, eyeball.
* Alternately, use translucent for eyeball (particularly for LED below)
* Brick mating on back will allow inclusion of an LED brick to light eye.
* 2x1 plate LED from Brikloot: https://www.brickloot.com/collections/light-linx/products/1-x-2-led-plate-create-your-own-led-string

Assembly:
* Start with castle.stl for body
* Insert CircuitPlayground+TFT Gizmo for eye
* Connect right-angle USB cable
* Insert Pipes (one each of pipe1.5in, pipe2.0in, pipe2.5in, pipe3.0in)
* Insert eye_grommet in front of eye
* The depression at the back uses the Heterodyne signet from:
https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:758706 Scale x=0.48,y=0.48,z=1.
* Insert an arm grommet (grommet.stl) on each side for arms.
* Assemble arms and hands
* Use arm_outie and arm for arm.
* Attach hand to arm (arm side, not arm_outie side)
* _0.1 hands have a slightly large ball hole and will rotate on the arm
* Attach arm to body
* Assemble legs
* Use thigh, leg30, and foot
* length of leg determines where feet sit relative to center-of-mass
* leg30 seems most stable; leg25 may work
* Insert leg into thigh first (tight fit)
* Insert leg into foot (also tight fit)
* Attach thigh-leg-foot units to castle body

Software Instructions for animated eye:
* follow adafruit instructions for setting up circuit playground bluefruit for circuitpython https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-circuit-playground-bluefruit
* follow adafruit instructions for setting up circuit playground bluefruit for tft gizmo https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-tft-gizmo
* also need to add to lib: adafruit_display_shapes (install like
adfruit_display_text in instructions above)
* copy castle_eye_v3.py here to CIRCUITPY/code.py on your circuit playground bluefruit

SCAD files are source and provide various internal options for tuning. Many components include the common dimensions.scad.

Internally uses parameterized building bricks derived from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:41108 by way of https://www.thingiverse.com/azzeloof
