3D model description

This model is dedicated to my followers. I have recently hit and surpassed 100 followers. Thank you for your support.

A savage and brutal ogre once lived a happy and fulfilled life on his feral homeworld. Though still young he had beaten, bashed, and smashed his way in to the ranks of his tribe's most feared warriors. His weapon of choice was a massive heavy club with vicious spikes protruding from it. These happy days were not to last however. Ships descended from the sky and other ogres along with men rounded up the ogres and took them away.

The 'recruitment officers' determined that this ogre would serve in the Imperial space army. His beloved club was taken from him and he was forced to carry a massive gun instead. The ogre was not happy. He was given opportunities to fight, which he relished, but he had to obey the rules and orders of the men in uniforms. He hated these puny men with their rules and shouted orders.

Not for the first time, he and the other ogres and men in his unit were sent to a new world to fight. This fight was long and victory did not come. Many ogres and men were killed in the following months. Soon the ogre was the only ogre left from his squad. He was assigned to a new squad of puny men, these men were called troublemakers and malcontents. They too had all come together from other squads that no longer existed. Conditions in the trenches had grown very bad by this point; ammunition, food, warm clothes, and other essentials were in short supply. The enemy was bombarding their positions with artillery every day all the while freezing rain poured from the sky.

The puny men in his squad were not like others of their kind. They were clever and did things against orders to stay alive. They treated the ogre as one of their own, they respected his strength and might. So, one night when his new squad decided at last to leave their posts and not return the ogre joined them. The squad made their way to a devastated city. The two armies were not fighting in the city. However, the residence of the city as well as groups of deserters from both armies were there. These three groups, in small bands fought one another for survival. They fought for food, weapons, ammo, supplies, and dominance. The ogre and his friends, they no longer used the term squad, fought constantly. They defeated other groups of locals, and deserters from both sides.

His friends found new gods who rewarded those who worshipped them, especially those who were victorious in their names. Shortly thereafter, in the spoils from a defeated foe, a massive power maul was taken. The ogre claimed it for himself, no one else could wield it anyway. The power maul was big, heavy, and crackled with destructive energy. It also had vicious spikes protruding from it. With this weapon the ogre killed many foes in the name of the new gods. The ogre was now among the elite warriors of his new group. Later a massive symbol of the new gods was found. It was in the shape of an eight pointed star with a ring connecting them and it was made from wrought iron. His friends told the ogre that it was a magical relic from their new gods. A ritual was performed and the iron star was merged with the ogre's body. Now he could feel their power and strength surging through him. He also rapidly healed any wounds he suffered. After that with the power maul and the iron star in his body the ogre was even more lethal. He and the his friends fought and won many battles. The new gods saw the ogre's many victories and the foes he had slain. They rewarded him with a magical blessing so that one of his hands became a giant claw. The claw was strong and useful in battle. At last, the ogre was happy once again, happier than he had ever been.

Note: I have also included STL files for the Power Maul, both a pristine and a damaged version.
