3D model description

------------------------------ English Version below -----------------------------------------

The project was born out of necessity, as I needed a second extruder for a German RepRap X350 but apart from the MK8 only the original DD3 extruder fit, for the price of which you can almost buy a printer.

The result is a simple little direct drive extruder called "Slider"

  • Dimensions similar to MK8

  • Hotend height adjustable

  • Dual Drive with BMG conveyor wheels without transmission (Similar to Micro Swiss)

  • Tensioner on the side

  • Two customized BMG LGX fanshroud with 4010 fan.

  • all parts printable without support!

I recommend printing all parts in ABS as the tolerances of the parts are designed for this. The extruders are tested and ready to use, but I do not rule out minor modifications.
