3D model description

This suppressor system design was inspired by the AWC Thor PSR Multi-caliber (present in Escape from Tarkov).

The real-steel version is available in 5.56x45mm, .308, 6.5 Grendel and .338 Lapua Magnum!

Luckily, for airsoft, barrel threads are standard LOL
So I only need to design one.

Enjoy.

Files Included:
- Suppressor Base
- Suppressor Cap
- Muzzle Adapter

The suppressor is fully functional: it significantly dampens shot noise due to the baffles which were designed with reference on real-steel, battle proven products.

Dimensions:

Muzzle adapter:
    - Length: 50mm
    - Width: 25mm

Suppressor:
    - Length: 153mm
    - Width: 30mm

Print/Assembly:

All parts can be printed with no supports. The suppressor base and cap need to be printed upside down (STL already comes with correct orientation).
After printing you can glue the threads on the suppressor cap and screw it onto the base - you'll never need to remove it.
Muzzle adapter comes with a hole for a 5mm M3 inset screw. The muzzle also overlaps the barrel about 4mm, depending on whether you are using an o-ring or a shim on the thread, so check that your handguard clears the suppressor. Dimensions listed above.

DISCLAIMER: This model was designed for airsoft use only. By no means is this part rated for real firearm use. PMC Gear takes no responsibility for injury or part damage due to misuse or employment in fields other than airsoft/milsim.

3D printing settings

Recommendations for Cura 5.2.2:
- Layer Height: 0.2mm
- At least 3 perimeter lines, Top and Bottom as well.
- Infill: 30% Cubic, for the muzzle adapter i'd recommend going for 50 - 60%
- Print speed: 50mm/s max for walls, 60mm/s for infill
- Building a Raft is highly recommended due to the relatively small contact area vs. the height of the model.

With my settings on an Ender 3 V2, the suppressor body takes a little under 12 hours to complete. The muzzle adapter takes around 1h30 and the suppressor cap a little over 30min.

Expect to spend between 90 and 100 grams of filament.
