3D model description

*** UNDER CONSTRUCTION ***

i just could'nt find ANYWHERE that has modelled a plug socket with pins so that a DIY arduino & bluetooth PCB, HOMEBREW and/or professionally made, could be COMFORTABLY installed inside the housing and have enough space to have a bluetooth antenna poking out the side...

==~~~>>> PLUS i have looked at different off the shelf plug socket housings in the UK markets, alas as every darn thing in my life that i want -

ITS JUST NOT BEEN INVENTED YET !!!!

and so...

*** This is going to be a Modular UK BS 1363 Plug Socket 240v Outlet but im going to need to also add the safety shutting/shutters so this can become a DIY Arduino-Bluetooth (HC-05/HC06) APP Controllable Plug Socket.

*** Deciding whether or not to just make a row of 2/3//6 sockets or just made square ones that connect together.

So this is a work in progress, adding parts as and when i have the energy and time for so please bear with me on this one !

*** Also so far all i have working is an Alfawise W10 (M)SLA 405nm UV Resin Printer to make these parts so at this time the 1-Plug-Socket Square's will be modelled up first.

But i will need this to be able to be printed out of ABS or any other high heat resilliant plastic via a filament 3D Printer, But going to use the (M) SLA Printer First for the Prototype :)

This will also be controlled by a bluetooth app made with APP INVENTOR :)

*** UNDER CONSTRUCTION ***

*** EDIT: ***

The Security Shutters look like they are both the exact same design for both the top pin and the two lower pins of the socket.

So the way i envisage this, is a lamp plugs into this 'adapter' then the adapter plugs into the wall, using either self-printed and or cannabalised items from some very cheap 2-way Plug splitters, see photo's...

A Rough Arduino Code has been written/made with the APP INVENTOR Browser software and is in testing with a relay circuit so far, born out of LAZY necessity ( ! ) so that me ma doesnt need to reach to difficult spaces to turn on a lamp lol

*** EDIT 2:***
The Gaping Hole in the top cover is for a 16mm illuminated latching power-symbol switch so it can be manually turned on and off as well as bluetooth controllable :)

Also - Quick Update to v0.18.5
