A gigantic worm monster for 28mm games, including 2 different Gargantuan-sized base decorative options, and an interchangeable basing system that allows the Overlord Worm to be swapped amongst the different base designs.
Pre-supported and unsupported files included. Also includes simple printable gargantuan figure base and a ground and wave base decoration.
No one’s career in D&D/fantasy gaming can be said to be complete unless they’ve had a character who was swallowed by a gigantic worm and then had to cut their way out. So by attacking them with this giant OverLord Worm, you are really helping them to have a complete gaming experience, and making sure that they have all their Bragging Rights in order.
This is a truly monstrous worm, well worthy of the OverLord moniker. It rears up out of a 4” base (Gargantuan sized in most D&D-based game system). Because the worm can be encountered in a variety of environments, some extra basing options are included, allowing it to be depicted bursting up out of the earth, out of the water, or even just on a simple plain base so that you can cover all the bases (hah-ha). A printable stand is included, with both the Overlord Worm and the Stand model being designed to accommodate magnets, so that the Worm can be swapped between the multiple base designs depending on what is needed for the current scenario.
Dark-Platypus Studio specializes in making models for role-playing game enthusiasts. Our models are designed to be printed in 28mm scale, the perfect size for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or other games that are often played on a 1” grid. They are also designed to stand up to actual tabletop use: no ridiculous spindly bits that look awesome but are going to break the first time someone sneezes. Paintability and ease of assembly are also important concerns to our design aesthetic.

The OverLord Worm was sculpted for a friend who is running an “AGE OF WORMS” D&D campaign. Four distinct poses were created, each with their own customized ground and wave base decorations. This listing is for pose 4 of the 4. Pick the one you like the best or buy a couple! My intent, once they have all been listed, is to make a separate listing that will offer all 4 designs at once for a discounted price, although I don’t know how many people (other than my friend, that is) who are going to want 4 different designs of giant worm!
