Sun Visor / Sunshade / Sonnenschutz / Sonnenblende for BMW-compatible Mobile Phone GPS Navigation Bracket with Qi Wireless and USB Charger

For BMW motorbikes, there are unofficial (Chinese?) smartphone holders with a Qi wireless charging coil and two USB charging ports that fit on the original BMW navigation device holder and connect to the 12V mains via the contact circuit board on the back. Unlike the USB version without wireless charger, this holder has a plate screwed on. I have constructed a sun visor that completely replaces this holding plate.

The holding plate is screwed into the corners with four screws. To unscrew the screws, the adhesive rubbers have to be removed carefully beforehand. Both the screws and the adhesive strips are reused for fitting the sun visor.

Printing in one piece is feasible, but requires a lot of support material and the finishing is tedious. Therefore I have uploaded another split version, consisting of the turned mounting plate and the sun visor. Both parts can be glued together after printing. However, I have only tested the one-piece version myself. Please let me know if the glued version works.

This 175 mm wide sun visor also fits larger mobile phones in thicker cases, e.g. a Huawei Nexus 6P with the dimensions 77.8 mm X 159.3 mm X 7.3 mm.

Note: The sun visors do not fit on the USB charging version of the adapter plate, as this does not have a separate retaining plate screwed on. For this version I have designed two sliding sun visors (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4874507).

Für BMW Motorräder gibt es inoffizielle (Chinesische?) Smartphone-Halterungen mit Qi Wireless-Ladespule und zwei USB-Ladeanschlüssen, die auf den originalen BMW Navigationsgerätehalter passen und sich über die rückseitige Kontaktleiterplatte mit dem 12V Stromnetz verbinden. Im Gegensatz zur USB-Variante ohne kabellosen Lader, ist bei dieser Halterung eine Platte aufgeschraubt. Ich habe eine Sonnenblende konstruiert, die diese Halteplatte komplett ersetzt.

Die Halteplatte ist mit vier Schrauben in den Ecken verschraubt. Um die Schrauben zu lösen, müssen zuvor die Klebegummis vorsichtig abgenommen werden. Sowohl die Schrauben als auch die Klebegummis werden für die Montage der Sonnenblende wiederverwendet.

Der Druck im Stück ist machbar, benötigt aber viel Supportmaterial und die Nachbearbeitung ist mühsam. Daher habe ich noch eine aufgeteilte Variante, bestehend aus der gedrehten Montageplatte und der Sonnenblende hochgeladen. Beide Teile können nach dem Druck zusammengeklebt werden. Selbst getestet habe ich allerdings nur die Variante aus einem Stück. Lasst mich bitte wissen, ob die Klebevariante funktioniert.

In diese 175 mm breite Sonnenblende passen auch größere Handys in dickeren Hüllen, z. B. ein Huawei Nexus 6P mit den Maßen 77.8 mm X 159.3 mm X 7.3 mm.

Notiz: Die Sonnenblenden passen nicht auf die USB-Ladeversion der Adapterplatte, da bei dieser keine gesonderte Halteplatte verschraubt ist. Für diese Version habe ich aufschiebbare Sonnenblenden (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4874507) konstruiert.
