3D model description

Here's the kabuto helmet mostly used by Tyger Claws bikers in Cyberpunk 2077 videogame.

This prop it's quite accurate (I'll say +90%). To design it I took references from the game (actual and concepts) for shape and from a real open face helmet for size. It should fit most heads (adult size) just play with padding/lining.

I tried to make it as realistic as possible but keeping the game look. The game doesn't explain or show anything about the helmet so I just guess wires that mimic the actual ropes in a japanese kabuto maybe connect sensors to a CPU for AR aided driving, an integrated comms system or just a radio for listen Pom Pom Shit while ridding.

The files are the following:

CP2077 Kabuto Front1: Helmet's front, first half.
CP2077 Kabuto Front2: Helmet's front, second half.
CP2077 Kabuto Back1: Helmet's back, first half.
CP2077 Kabuto Back2: Helmet's back, second half.
CP2077 Kabuto Shikoro: Helmet's neck protection.
CP2077 Kabuto VisorC: Visor's central part.
CP2077 Kabuto VisorR: Visor's right part.
CP2077 Kabuto VisorL: Visors left part.
CP2077 Kabuto CPU: Rear box cover.
CP2077 Kabuto Battery: Rear box top cover.
CP2077 Kabuto ClipsX4: Wire loops. Print 4.
CP2077 Kabuto ConnectorsX6: Wires connectors. Print 6.
CP2077 Kabuto FixingsX4: (lining?) Fixings. Print 4.

I've printed most of the helmet in PLA, but I do recommend to print in resin the following parts: CPU, Battery, Connectors, Clips and Fixings.

You'll need the following extra hardware :

5mm EVA Foam for the sub-shikoro part (long neck cover). In the game this part looks like made of thick rubber and by the moment it's not printable/modeled. It's hand made. Anyway, not all kabuto helmets in the concept art have this part.
5mm (7 to 9 strands) pararcord for the wires. You also can use fabric sleeved electrical wire, in example. But paracord is cheaper.
6X 6mm OD/5 or 4mm ID x12mm long brass tubing for the rear wires connectors in the CPU cover.

Padding: I use tactical/airsoft helmet padding and works fine. It's attached with velcro.

ASSEMBLY:

Just print, sand and glue all parts together, it's pretty straightforward. Look any game pic for reference or ask me if you have doubts.

Holes in the side are just to align the wire loops (clips) you can simply glue them on top. Also you can use a small plug screw to further secure them (or be able to remove then).

Front connectors tight fit in their spot at the sides, I had to sand a little there. Depends of your printer tolerances.

Wires run from each front connector to a tube in the CPU cover in each side: top->first, middle->second, bottom-> third.

Don't hesitate to ask any question. And if you print it, leave me a Make :)

This prop is intended for cosplay or decoration, not as a toy. Also NOT INTENDED FOR COMMERCIAL USE. Reselling this model is not authorized in any way.
