OK ODW 6051 pump protection dishwasher - generation 2

Have you ever been annoyed when an expensive dishwasher repair is due because the pump is clogged? Often the warranty doesn't even cover it, because it's proven that it's the customer's fault if food residue got into the pump.

The reason is because the screens are created in such a way that even larger pieces can fall through (see photo 5)

I thought about it and developed this extra filter that can remedy this. Through some experimentation, Generation 2 has been created in which the stainless steel mesh is also better held in place by the cross bracing. This means a little fummeler during installation, but ensures a siocher seat of the fabric.

Important:

Print it with PP filament so that it can withstand the high temperatures of over 70 degrees !!! I printed my experimental parts in PLA, but did not test them to 70 degrees.

PP is dishwasher safe. I tested everything on an OK dishwasher ODW 6051 and clean the screen after each rinse (just rinse).

For the mesh, I chose a stainless steel mesh (photo 6) and cut it out using the template (photo 4). The sieve lies slightly bulbous in the mold.

In my case, it shows itself as a successful helper !
