3D model description

Here is my design for a conversion kit to turn a CYMA m14 electric airsoft rifle into your own WWII Gewehr-43 rifle (My specific example is built off of the CYMA SOCOM m14 airsoft rifle.)

This conversion kit is designed for CYMA or all closely-compatible m14 electric rifles and especially for minimal required modifications.

Note: You will need to disassemble your upper receiver to be able to install the conversion kit. Do so carefully! Please plan accordingly with the tools you may require which include but are not limited to flat-head/Phillips-head screwdrivers, Allen wrenches, pliers, and a saw. You will want two click-pen springs for the sight and faux bolt-catch.

Disassembly:
You will need to separate the upper receiver from the stock and carefully unscrew and remove the charging handle, then the upper receiver which hosts the gearbox mechanism.
You will have to remove the front sight and saw off a portion of the under-barrel after removing the faux gas tube on the front.

Note: You will reuse the lower metal barrel-fixture to screw the rear sight post on top. This will be a snug fit as it keeps the barrel aligned.

Upper-receiver assembly:
*Rear sight:
The rear leaf sight requires one ordinary click-pen spring cut into sections- one for the adjustment mechanism, one to press against the cradle and into the front of the leaf sight in the cylinder groove. Then slide in the axle to hold the spring in.

Upper receiver:
Once the printed rear sight is installed into the cradle and you have the printed front sight, front lug cap, and upper guard assembled (just slide onto the metal outer barrel), you can install the entire upper receiver with gearbox back into the stock and frame, just the way the original m14 upper receiver would lock in place and glue the printed rear bolt cover in place and begin adding the smaller printed details like gluing in the charging handle and attaching the faux bolt catch with spring.
