3D model description

Hi guys,

This trailer was designed to pair with the 3ronco RC car designed by Casadio (which can be found here on Cults) but it can be used with any other RC car with a scale up to 1/8 as long as you change the hitch with a compatible one for your car.
There are many features such as loading platforms, storage compartment, moving axis with automatic recovery, fixing accessories, etc.
We have more ideas to upgrade the trailer so stay tuned.

The assembly guide is also included.

3D printing settings

All the parts are saved as STL extension and ready to be loaded to the slicer.
You need a 210x210 print area to print the parts for this kit.
The parts are not ready with the best orientation, so you need to rotate them on your slicer.
The following pages show my recommendation for the orientation of the most critical parts, but you can use your own orientation if you prefer.
Most of the parts need supports so don’t forget to enable this feature.
It’s important (especially for the chassis parts) that the parts don’t get warped.
If your print surface has good adhesion, then you don’t need to enable the brim feature.

Regarding the print settings, we recommend using 0,2mm layer height for the chassis parts, 0,16mm for the body parts and 0,12mm for the small parts.
You can use a smaller layer height for the body and/or accessories if you don’t mind the extra printing time.
For infill, you can use 20% for all the parts except the Wheel Axis which should have 100%
and use 3 walls/perimeters for all the parts.
Use the necessary temperature settings recommended by your filament manufacturer.
