Odin M12 Sidewinder Parts Suite

If your Odin Sidewinder get damaged or otherwise stops working, most parts you might need to repair it can be found in this pack.

This Suite includes the following

Quite a bit of testing has gone into making these models very accurate and printable but please understand that the final product is limited by machine precision and personal experience. be sure to tune your filament profile to be as accurate as possible to maintain dimensional stability.

Misc Notes:

The original screws/hardware should work without issue with the printed parts, however I would recommend a longer M3 countersunk screw for the Winding Peg (up to ~20mm) if you experience issues with the peg loosening over time.

The Wheel Covers may need some sanding/polishing depending on the support settings, however it was not critical in the testing I did.

Note that the Sidewinder O-ring is intended to be printed with TPU and was tested specifically in Fiberlogy Fiberflex 30D.

The Valken Max 1000 seems to have a chronically loose winding wheel relative to the Original Odin, seemingly due to a longer Wheel Bushing (or perhaps a shorter plastic housing.) For this reason, included are a shorter Wheel Bushing and Clutch Shims to take up the slack between the large wheel washer and the plastic body. These Clutch Shims can be used on both the Valken Max 1000 and the Original Odin Sidewinder if the Winding Wheel Assembly rattles too much.

The pictured parts are printed out of eSun PA6-CF at .15mm layer height. Print with support from the Buildplate for most of the included parts. Again, please be sure to tune your filament profile for dimensional accuracy for best results.
