Walrus Class Submarine 1/50 scale RC

Complete new 3d model of the Dutch Walrus Class submarine made for RC.

The Walrus Class is a modern Diesel-Electric submarine in service from 1990 with a total of 4 submarines.

HrMs Walrus, HrMs Bruinvis, HrMs Zeeleeuw, HrMs Dolfijn.

The Walrus Class has the ability's to operate worldwide with an armament of 4 21 inch torpedo tubes.

The model printed in 1/50 scale is 1,36m long. and made for 100mm or 120 mm WTC.

Complete submarine hull, the design is completely renewed in Nov2023.

• Hull separated in 2 parts, top and bottom. with locking system.
• Added mounting for a waterproof SailDiveRudderservo
• 78mm Propellor (to be printed in resin)
• Complete with 3d printable rudder hevels for X-rudder in the tail.
• Sail with scissorsystem for moving Periscopeset

I wanted to make a rather unique submarine and always liked the look of the Dutch Walrus Class. I didnt want to make a epoxy hull because to much time consuming.

This model is developed consulting an experienced rc submarine builder. Any rcmodelling experience is needed for the technical diving part.

Note:

Building a working submarine model is not easy. Experience with this type of model building is strongly advised. This model is suitable for working, but the necessary parts are not part of this design and file set.

Building this model requires more than just printing and assembling the parts. Some parts may contain small imperfections, which should not pose a problem to make a beautiful (scale) model.
