3D model description

See parts fitted in photo or rather, you cant see the parts as hidden under the winch mounting bracket.
Most of us have had the unfortunate experience of water inside your hull and only to find that you have cracks around the keel plate, battery hatch or winch/servo hatch. Even after resin and glassing, the cracks come back again. I believe these cracks come from the boat nose diving in strong winds and stress of the nose of the boat being pushed under the water. The wind and water is trying to bend your boat like a banana and it wants to crack in the middle at the weakest parts. I am from Queensland, and we know about bending bananas.
Here is my solution which up to now has been working on my DF95. These doublers strengthen the weak areas of the hull and spread the load and forces to other parts of the hull. I am going to do it to my practice 65 as well which is already cracked after glassing.
WOW, I hear the expected echo โ€œITS NOT LEGALโ€ Its legal on your practice boat, the one you don't take to competitions and will save your electronics. Get that cracked hull from the plastics bin and fit it to that. Save the wear and tear on your good boat. PM me if you want to find out more.
