3D model description

This fancy mini commode does not just come handy to keep your small stuff under control with optional customizable separators for two of the three drawers. If you take the drawers out there is a secret compartment fixed by magnets to keep your cash and other valuable items hidden.

On 100% scale the size (excluding handles and rubber-feet) is 166x166x166 mm with 150x150x15 mm of space to hide you stuff and 154x53x133mm for each drawer (WxHxD). Inside the secret compartment you can optionally fix your stuff with zipties or cords. You need two M3 screws between 6 to 12 mm and eight round magnets (8, 10 or 12x3 mm, see STL-filenames) you should find cheap on Ebay. If you have other diameters and depths around (but similar) or want to scale the model, contact me and I will send you matching STLs for the magnets.

3D printing settings

PLA works fine and the tolerances should be sufficient for easy printing even with a 0.6 mm nozzle (0.5 mm clearance on each side between drawer- and casewalls, 0.25 mm all around for the magnets). With 2 walls and 25% infill you should need less than 800 g PLA. I recommend 0.2 to 0.25 mm layer-height with 0.4 mm nozzle.

The drawers needs to be printed with support for the small overhangs at the bottom-sides. The bottom drawer is splitted in two pieces and needs to be glued together after with super-glue. Tip: use a cotton bud/stick to apply a thin layer so it doesn't get messy.

For the four small feet I suggest TPU and must be glued as well as the magnets. Be aware of the magnet-pole-direction and better mark the proper sides with a sharpie/Edding before glueing them in.
