3D model description

Mounts the Aquila display (and possibly others) onto a ball-joint to allow a wide variety of positions for the controls. Fairly easy print, will need a touch of glue but otherwise it's a quick assembly.

After updating the firmware and thus switching to a vertical (and dark) display, I found the room lighting produced too much glare from the screen, plus it would be easier to use at an angle. DieZopfe's excellent little ball joint (v3 for this one) was the main part, and I remixed both the base and the display bracket from fukumay's display drawer.

Be aware that some positions might interfere with the print bed, so test the Y-axis before starting a new print, but for the most part it's well out of the way but easy to position with a twist of the tightening nut.

The ball itself should be a good fit into the bracket, but it depends on the printer of course. I used a little epoxy to keep it there, after sliding the screw over top of it. The base mounts onto the end screws of the Aquila base, the display pops in and out like the original.

Only the base needs support - I printed in this orientation to prevent the threaded part from getting gummed up. A brim around the ball might help prevent it from pulling loose during printing.
