Skyboom Shield from Transformers Armada

And here's the second minicon artifact set from back in the Armada days - the legendary Skyboom Shield!

Made up when the trio from the Race Minicon team combine, the shield confered tremendous power to the wielder!

Here's a closer look at this piece and the 3 variant handles provided which allows it to either be pegged onto a bot's forearm 5mm port, or be held more conventionally in his hand like a regular shield.

Flipping it to the reverse side, we see some of the detailing which added to this piece.

As an option, the Skyboom shield provided comes in a plain version without effect pegs and one (shown below here) with 3mm pegs for adding on blast effects!

And to keep things in line with the Mincon play gimmick from the Armada, a minicon port has been added to the lower bit of the shield's reverse side, so any Minicons you like can be pegged on for storage and to further power up the shield!

And with the handle variants, let any of your favorite bots from past to present wield this legendary armament as you choose! =)

[13 Mar Update]

Had some thoughts about the one-size-fits-all Skyboom shield being too large for deluxe bots, so did a little smaller version just for them which should scale better

The filenames of the shields now have the "_deluxe" and "_voyager" to indicate which size they are.
