Show off your mechs with this maintenance hangar bay kit! Decorate your favorite shelf with this easy to print, easy to paint set of models, ready for your miniatures.

Modeled for 28mm to 2 inch miniatures, ideal for showing off your Battletech mechs and vehicles in a scenic environment stage. (Mech and vehicle models shown in the images are not included.)

Designed from the bottom up to be as easy to print as possible on basic household desktop FDM 3D printers such as the Ender and Prusa line of machines. No fuss, no supports needed!

Every file created by Pulsar Concepts is well tested to provide maximum ease of use and a low-stress printing experience.

Can your machine handle the detailed scaffolding? Perfect, then select the pre-made scaffolding model and hit print! Is it a little too difficult? Print the filled-in version, or 4x of the disassembled flat pieces and simply glue them together before painting!

Not very detailed, made specially for household desktop FDM machines. Spruce them up with a coat of paint, sponge on some texture, and dry brush to make them shelf-ready in record speed!

Here's what I used to print these:
0.4mm Nozzle (standard size, brass)
2 Perimeter Lines
5 Top and 5 Bottom Layers
200-195Β°C Print Temp.
50-60Β°C Build Plate Temp.

Remember, your own settings may change! Filament brand/color, printer model, shop environment, humidity, atmospheric pressure, alignment of the stars, etc. all have an affect on your 3D printing experience.

Don't be afraid to experiment, tweak settings, print at different angles, and more.

Having Some Issues?

A well-calibrated printer is key to really nice print quality. Try the following by looking up some tutorials:

  • Calibrate E-Steps
  • Calibrate X, Y, and Z motor steps
  • Level build plate
  • Calibrate flow rate
  • Dial in filament temperature
  • Toast filament dry with a dehydrator
  • Slow down print speed
  • Double-check thickness of filament with calipers
