3D model description

-2023 update
I have added a 2 piece lower model that is just made for the Dmag springs. not that this is necessary better then the stock model with the adapter piece in it. but it's just 1 less part to print and worry about loosing. in case you are not planning to use Dye springs

these mod parts are made to go with the v1.1 version of the OB10 TiPX magazine
that is made by:ODDBALL PAINTBALL
https://www.printables.com/model/213848-tipx-magazine-ob-10%2Fcomments

the idea of this modded parts is to make it compatible with the standard DMAG 20 rounds mag springs. this can be a handy spring to use on more delicate paint

I only had the shaped projectile (FSR)spring of the Dmag in a 14 round version, and found this to be strong of a spring. (and to short of course...) so for the use FSR I would just go for the 20 round Dye mags springs since I suspect the 20 rounder Dmag for FSR to be a bit to stiff, but I can be wrong on this

so the second thing this mod will do is helping in the mag door from closing when you things like a tactical reload.

also I gave the Dye spring just a little bit more room so there was less over compression going on when you try to lock the follower. at least this was I noticed.

how to do you assemble this mag? or do you want more details for it. I think for now the best place to start is to watch the video that I made.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_q66jOopxTw&t=1s

but of course for the original files those can be found above.

and yes it does work in a FGC68TE with a TiPX mag lower. giving you the option to 3d print your marker and mags

3D printing settings

print settings:
0.2 layer hight should be fine.
you can use the 8 layer walls and a 40% infill.
but personally I moved a bit over to solid prints just to give it more strength in case things go wrong on the field…
