3D model description

This is a massive insert for Marvel and Xmen united, KS versions.

After almost two months of thinking, testing and printing I managed to fit the entire game in only 9 boxes (instead of 19).

My priority was using space efficiently, but at the same time I tried to make it playable with at most three boxes (I donΒ΄t like games that require bringing to the table half of my shelf).

To ensure that all miniatures remained in place, I utilized TPU bases that I typically print for my inserts. I chose TPU because of its flexibility, which allows the bases to grip the miniatures without damaging them. Although I considered using magnets, I ultimately chose this method as it is less invasive."

What this insert doesn't fit?
Cardboard location, cardboard enemy dashboards (I don't have them), cards with 100 micron sleeves and two copies of all items (I stored plastic tokens, cardboard tokens are stored in a different place because I don't use them).

How boxes are organized?

Marvel United Stretch Goals: all marvel united heroes (minis and cards)
Xmen United Stretch Goals: all xmen united heroes (minis and cards)
Apocalypse Box: all purple chars + Apocalypse minions (+ cards)
Phoenix Box: all villains (mostly most powerful) (+ cards)
Deadpool Box: more villains (+ cards)
Sinistre Six Box: more villains (mostly Spiderman villains) (+ cards)
Centinels Box: default interset with centinels (+ cards)
Thanos Box: outer space villains (+ cards)
Core Box (any): locations, tokens, all remaining cards

The minimum amount of boxes to play a game is 3, the core box, one Stretch for heroes and one random box for villains.

Why too many pieces?
I have a compact printer, which prompted me to divide certain parts into smaller pieces. Additionally, to distinguish between hero and villain cards more easily, I opted for utilizing a variety of colors.

BEFORE START PRINTING
Consider printing a few TPU bases and testing their functionality. Keep in mind that some adjustments may be necessary depending on your specific printer, settings, and the TPU brand you are using. I personally found that the bases I printed securely attach all miniatures and prevent any movement, even when my storage boxes are kept vertically.

Instructions

Standard TPU Base
This is the regular base I used for minis, you will need a lot. The holes are used to attach them to the insert, so no glue is needed.

Vertical TPU Base
Same as standard but without holes. Used for walls.

Thanos Box (TH)
This box will fit all intergalactic foes. Print all files starting with TH, 8x Standard TPU Bases + 1x Vertical TPU Base (and this insert contains a special vertical tpu base for two minis).

Insert for stones (and their cards) can be attached under the Gauntlet.

Under all dashboards you can put all Thanos related cards (except stones), and the other card insert can be used for remaining villains.

Apocalypse Box (APO)
This box contains all purple minis, their cards and Apocalypse minions. You will need 4x TPU Bases and 10x Vertical TPU Bases.

Cards are split in two groups, hero cards and villain cards. Dashboard can be stored on the right hand side.

Sinistre Six Box (SIX)
This box contains all Spiderman enemies (+ some other villains). You will need 4x TPU Bases, 10x Vertical TPU Bases. These files contains an extra TPU Base to store 3 minis together.

Dashboard can be stored on the right hand side over minis and cards.

Phoenix Box (PHX)
This box contains Phoenix Force + More Villains. You will need 4x TPU Bases, 4x TPU Vertical Bases. These files contains two extras TPU bases, print 2x vertical and 1 regular.

Deadpool Box (DP)
This box contains all remaining villains. You will need 6x TPU Bases and 8x TPU Vertical Bases. These files contains an extra TPU Vertical Base used to store Mojo.

I'll continue uploading files during following days.
