Print your sharpening guide for chisels and plane blades up to 50mm wide.

I designed this guide to get perfect sharpening of my woodworking tools, without having to choose between an overpriced but efficient and repetitive sharpening guide, or an inexpensive but more randomly effective model.

This is a tough, durable tool for ultra-sharp, precise, and repeatable sharpening of all your chisels and planes in record time. The sharpening guide can handle blades up to 50 mm wide, and up to 10 mm thick. It will allow you to precisely sharpen your blades to the desired angle, between 15 and 45Β° in 5Β° increments. All areas subject to stress or wear are reinforced with metal inserts and components. This way your tool will last for years without a hitch.

I designed this sharpening jig to require easy-to-find metal reinforcements that can come from salvage. If you have to buy them, I've held back these components so they won't cost you much!

Grinding guide features:

  • Total height: 51 mm

  • Total height at full opening: 63 mm

  • Total width: 15 mm

  • Total length: 33 mm

  • Total length with adjustment template: 120 mm

  • Weight: 100g

  • Weight with adjustment template: 120g
