Morrigan Nightshade Backstory

Morrigan Nightshade was once a beautiful queen, with long silver hair that shone like moonlight.
She was known for her magical prowess and her ability to control the dead, using them to do
her bidding. But Morrigan's beauty and power came at a great cost, for she had made a deal
with a dark spirit, trading her soul for eternal youth and control over the undead.
However, the dark spirit had other plans for Morrigan. It cursed her, making her kill any man who
crossed her path if she wished to retain her beauty and power. The curse also made her unable
to leave the dark forest that surrounded her kingdom, forcing her to remain there forever.
Morrigan was devastated by the curse, but she had no choice but to obey its commands. She
would lure men into the woods with her beauty, seducing them with her enchanting voice and
mesmerizing eyes. And then, once they were completely under her spell, she would kill them
with a single touch, absorbing their life force to maintain her beauty and power.
As time passed, Morrigan's curse grew stronger, and her once-beautiful kingdom fell into ruin.
She retreated into the dark forest, where she built herself a wooden throne surrounded by the
skeletons of all her victims. In the center of her forehead, she bore the dark crystal of Alona,
which granted her the ability to resurrect the man who would bring her out of the curse.
Morrigan waited in her throne, yearning for a way to break the curse and regain her soul. She
had grown tired of the endless killing and longed for love and companionship. But until the curse
was broken, she remained a dark sorcerer, a necromancer who lived in the shadows,
surrounded by death and despair.
