3D model description

an update to my original carbine kit the nimrod.
this is a carbine kit that fits the stock AAP-01 airsofr GBB Pistol by action army.

its features the same stock as the original kit however has a remodelled front end. the two kits are compatible with one another thus you can swap out the front ends as you like.

this variation features a more streamlined design with an almost H+K style with twin picatinny rails for optics and a torch or foregrip. i run mine with a surefire torch and with a slight bend to the trigger pad it fits perfectly.

p.s the pictured print shows an earlier version where i had to warm up and bend the struts on the stock since i had positioned them too low. i have since rectified this issue! also there are two holes on the sides which were originally for extra rails however these interfered with the mag release function too much so were removed in the final version!

3D printing settings

both the front and the stock will require supports.
the front has a steep overhang when printed vertically so the movement speed should be slowed down to compensate for this however if not a bit of sandpaper cleans it up nicely.
