3D model description

If you Fly First Person View, (FPV) on RC Planes, you are simply going to love this little FPV Pod with Pan Tilt. You can stick it on your plane making sure your Center of Gravity (CG) is balanced, and simply add your FPV cam or GoPro to it.

using two servos, you can control Pan and tilt. Takes standard 9g servo with some filing or modding. I designed it for KST DS215MG Servos. Check online for dimensions of those servos. Very good digital metal gear servos.

This FPV Pan Tilt Pod gives amazing good results. keeps your Video Transmitter perfectly cool due to the front and side inlets that keep more than enough air flow on Video transmitter and keep it cool during flight.

FPV VTx pod will take small sized 200mW to 600mW FPV Video Transmitters.

I did not use FPV Pod during this flight but later added the VTx Pod on my plane.

To Assemble the FPV Pan Tilt
Add Tilt Servo to the mount.
add Pan base 1 to one side and pan base 2 to other side.
use zip ties to join both Pan bases and tighten them.
add Pan servo and add Pan tilt to Pan servo.

3D printing settings

Print the Parts at least 30% infill for Pan tilt base.
Temps used 200 for Extruder, and 60 for bed.
Rest is Standard setup with Simplify3D
