3D model description

Having a lot of desktop cleanup to perform, I decided I needed yet another Little Red Wagon (see http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2003020) yet I didn't have time to assemble one, so I designed the PLA / PVA Little Red Wagon, a remix of the original Little Red Wagon, which is printed 100% fully assembled.

Designed using Fusion 360, sliced using Cura, and printed in PLA and PVA on an Ultimaker 3 Extended.

3D printing settings

Printer Brand:

Ultimaker

Printer:

Ultimaker 3

Rafts:

No

Supports:

Yes

Resolution:

.1mm

Infill:

50%

Notes:
I loaded "PLA_PVA Wagon Upright.stl" model into Cura 2.3.1, then in the Cura 2.3.1 "Preferences, General" pane, I turned off "Automatically drop models to the build plate", then lifted the model 1mm vertical and printed the result. Lifting the model allows Cura to print a bed of PVA to support the wheels which avoids flat spots where the wheels would otherwise come in contact with the build plate.

Post-Printing
Place the finished print in a water bath. I use a printed circuit board etching tank with clean water, a heater and an agitator. The PVA dissolved and I had a functional fully assembled Little Red Wagon in just over 2 hours.
