3D model description

Sphere Dissection into Three Congruent Pieces (Trisection)
Support and Raft Needed
3D design allows us to play with mathematical and everyday objects. What if we apply a Reid dissection of a cube onto a sphere? The result turns out to be appealing, too. Nice and smooth, it could be interesting for children to play with.

Of course, it is a bit challenging to print because of the spherical surface. Support and raft are thus needed.

The sphere has a diameter of 50mm. Two versions are included. The inner hollow sphere has a diameter of 25mm. The critical dissecting point is a centroid in this case.

Have fun!
