This is a statue of Cupid stringing his bow. The ancient torso and head were restored with wings from an ancient statue. The legs and arms were restored by a more modern sculpture. It was acquired in Rome by the painter James Barry for the Rt. Hon. Edmund Burke.
This object is part of "Scan The World".
