3D model description

A hardcase cover for using lipo batteries in cars that have battery compartments designed for 7,2V ni-mh stick packs. It protects the battery from crash damage and also protects the edges of the pack from damage when used in a car with a rounded battery mounting frame, like many Tamiya cars or old cars.

01 and 02 is specifically designed for a 2S 3300 mAh battery with the dimensions 134 x 42.4 mm x 14.8 mm. Any pack that is equal to or smaller than all these dimensions will fit. 03 is my new one that is slightly more compact to fit "picky" tamiya vintage cars and will hold a variety of sized lipos, mostly under 2S 2500 mAh.

Stickcover01 has the text 3300 mAh on it.
Stickcover02 does not have the text 3300 mAh on it but instead has the Tamiya logo.
Stickcover03 is hollowed out and slightly slimmer to better fit cars that have a tight battery space, like some Tamiyas. This works with various 2S 2500 and smaller lipos. Has the Tamiya logo.

3D printing settings

Two perimeters and very low infill is recommended to keep the weight down while keeping the shell sufficiently strong.

Print in the orientation they open, standing on the end.
