3D model description

A gift box with a very sturdy design without sharp corners that can also be used for storing toys. The hinge is adapted to use a 1.75mm filament as center, just heat and flatten the ends of the filament. If you scale the model down, you can use a straightened paperclip or steel wire as hinge center.

There are several versions of the box itself and the lid, the file names should be self explanatory.
Due to the model alignment, it is very easy to add your own text and symbols in your favorite 3D modelling program.

Notes:
Designed to be printed without supports or rafts, hence printing box and lid separately.

The box can be printed at 0.20mm layer height. I printed mine with good results at 150mm/s, but slowed down to 50 for the hinges as the top.

I recommend printing the lid with slightly finer settings and slower speed to get the rounded handle, hinge and (optional) text/symbols to look nice.

20% infill is plenty and should be able to take a beating if used by children.
