3D model description

A 3D recreation of Mass Effect's SSV Normandy SR2 spacecraft. This model comes in 7 pieces ready for direct import into your printer.

Once the print is complete there will be a small amount of fitting and gluing required. The sizes worked perfectly on the first print for me, but some small sanding/dremmeling may be required to have the pieces fit perfectly based on individual printer quality.

The SSV Normandy is a fantastic (nearly) to scale replica for any fans of science fiction, high-tech spacecraft, or the Mass Effect universe, and looks fantastic once done!

3D printing settings

I suggest printing the SSV Normandy so that the longer half of the hull measures at least 6 inches. This allows the smaller parts to print at a thick enough size to be durable.

Additionally, I recommend printing the smaller pieces (the two rudder wings on the back of the hull, as well as the front flange piece) solid for the same reason of durability.

The entire print can be solid if you so choose, but will be lighter and print more quickly with an infill.
