3D model description

These are not famous confectionery, but a modular system for round or square mirrors Sensea ( hence the title M'M'S) 10cm in diameter or 10cm by 10cm available in your nearest LEROY MERLIN...

Or how to customize a simple and aesthetic object using this revolutionary new tool that is the 3D printer...

The idea came to me when I went back to the Esprit Design Blog site, the cover page of the Autumn-Winter catalogue of my favourite DIY store chain: "Make It"'s stuffed number and the use of 3D printed stamps to create patterns. I'm moving away a little, but that's what inspired me for this special bathroom contest creation!

You can decide on the arrangement (Pattern) of this very practical decoration in a bathroom to see you under several angles at the same time: hairstyle, make-up

The frames have once printed, a handy wall hanging system with two screws only if you install them in ribambelle, use the template to print to properly position your fasteners.

Print as many frames as you wish to compose your design ( from 1 to an infinite number of mirrors, square, diamond, cascade,...), assemble them (on the back of the frames) using the invisible junction pieces of your choice to insert into the clever notch system provided, fix the mirrors using locking pieces using screws 2.5mm by 10mm long. Admire yourself, alone, as a couple, as a family...

In the spirit of MAKERS and the Open Source philosophy, I can make available, on request via the CULTS 3D platform, the creation files of the entire system I designed, if you want to create geometric patterns other than those proposed (Bubbles and Diamonds). Just create in a sketch the surfaces you want to remove (using the extrude-cut function), all in a very intuitive (.F3D) and increasingly popular software format: AutoDesk's Fusion 360, absolutely brilliant (no bugs in.stl export)...

Post your makes, with original arrangements, other than those presented by me. Print, assemble, have fun!

3D printing settings

PLA at 210Β°C

Nozzle diameter: from 0.35 mm to 0.5 mm (most current machines like DAGOMA NEVA and its kits also).

Layer height: 0.2 mm.

Filling: 25%.

Top and Bottom Thickness: 0.6 mm

Wall Thickness: from 0.7 mm to 1 mm

Brim: YES: 12mm for the frames, 3mm for the junction and locking parts.
