Symbol of “Trident with a sword” is called a battlelike and is an emblem of Ukrainian military organization (UMO) and Organization of Ukrainian nationalists (OUN). Also “Trident with a sword” is used in symbols of Right Sector (Ukrainian: Правий сектор, Pravy/Pravyy Sektor), which is a Ukrainian nationalist political party and civil society organization that originated in November 2013 during the Revolution of Dignity (Ukrainian: Революція гідності / Revoliucija Hidnosti), Euromaidan protests in Kyyiv. Symbol of “Trident with a sword” was founded in the 1920s among Ukrainian Nationalists. It was also the official symbol of Organization of Ukrainian nationalists and starting from the 1940 it was an emblem of the leader of Organization of Ukrainian nationalists colonel Andrii Melnyk. Trident with a sword is a symbol of fight against the enemy of Ukraine.
