A basic table tennis bat. The design itself, especially where the handle attaches to the blade may need some refinement. But with feedback I can update the design as needed.
The surface of the bat, which would normally be rubber of some sort, would be best printed in NinjaFlex or equivalent. The surfaces for mine where printed in FormFutura Eco Flex, which while flexible, don’t have that same grip that I imagine NinjaFlex would.
The overall print time for all the parts of a single bat is around 10 hours 30 minutes. I used an infill percentage of 15 and 0.3mm layer thickness for all the parts, except the securing peg, which was at 0.2mm. The estimated use of material is 80.65 grams. So a smaller percentage on the infill would be recommend for the blade sections of the bat.
