3D model description

Bear-u-lele

The next iteration of my playable ukulele is the Bear-u-lele. Show off the unique abilities of a 3D printer with this fun to play instrument.

Check our a video and hear what it sounds like here:

3D printing settings

Body

Print the body from the "Playable Ukulele". The neck will slide in just like the original neck.

Neck

The neck needs slight support for the top part of the mouth. Other than that, I haven't needed any other supports for the new neck.

Paws

The paws print without supports. I used a cooling column to give the claws time to cool between layers.

Assembly

I printed in PLA for the one shown. I super glued the neck into the body. Installed the guitar tuning machines. Added purchased soprano ukulele strings.
