3D model description

This is an alternator designed for high voltage output at low rpm, capable of high torque, low speed.

It's a work in progress, and my time for support may be limited. I hope to publish an improved version, and integrated new turbine design, in the next few weeks.

This is a platform for my new turbine design, which I'll be releasing in the near future, and I wanted anyone with an inexpensive FDM printer to be able to test. I had to develop my own as I couldn't find a commercial unit that could produce the necessary volts for my control system at the low startup speed of my turbine.

One of the most interesting things is my use of poured in place structure, and pretensioned wire reinforcing. I haven't seen anyone do this, and it's a fantastic way to make use of inexpensive printers, to produce very strong and inexpensive parts.

As it's an out runner design, it might also make a good drone motor, and more than one of them can run on a shaft, so counter rotating props would be simple.
