3D model description

Hello,

This message is addressed to people equipped with a grinding wheel with water wheel. Type TRI... SHEP... TOR..., etc...

This is a sharpening guide for woodturner's gouges. I named it "LE KEMROT", in reference to his brother :)

Indeed it is fixed on the accessory holder like its original.

I had made an attempt in wood, which worked not too badly, but the tool holder was fixed. There's a model like ONE..., more for the classic reel.

This guide is composed of a tool holder and its axis (pivot) as well as the lamella (for my part I haven't printed it yet, it's great! even without).

For more details I put you the design of the support of this tool, it is fundamental. Made with a few pieces of copper and 2 "T". I recovered 2 screws of an old microphone stand, 2 nuts of 6 and hop, A guide worthy of this name for nothing !!!

I think there's gonna be some sharpening sessions coming up soon... lol.

Enjoy

LTDO

EDIT 3003:

Here is an improved version with notches for tilting the tool head. A top reinforcement and more adjusted nut locations.

I had made an attempt in wood, which worked not too badly, but the tool holder was fixed. There is a model ONE way..., rather intended for the classic reel.
