3D model description

Updated, includes 5 .STL files.

[The clamp that attaches to the actual lamp, supported/unsupported 90-degree-bend tablet mounts that work better in portrait mode, and supported/unsupported 90-degree-bend tablet mounts that work better in landscape mode.]

Please let me know if you've printed this and have any issues.

I'm tired of constantly switching positions while reading in bed, trying to stay comfortable and keep the screen at the appropriate angle.

No additional hardware required, just the lamp, the tablet, and this print.

The tablet slides into the mount (snug, but not so snug it damages the finish), you remove the lamp part of your lamp, keep the hardware shown in the last photo, and reassemble with the mount on instead. Tighten the big plastic screw until things are snug, and you should be in good shape.

3D printing settings

Printed on a Makerbot 2 @ .2mm layer height. Two files included for the mount: one with supports, and one without. Higher infill seems to give better results, as the harsh metal of the lamp can tend to cut into the clamp otherwise. If you can, you should get better results by putting a small washer on either side of the clamp in the lamp assembly.
