3D model description

Produced with the awesome support from my Patrons!

This is a set of modular trunks and branches that can be used to make alive or dead trees. It is scaled to 28mm but remember that trees come in many many sizes. Print these scaled up and down and mirrored to get a natural variation.

The trunks and branches are good to shape with heat. Use pliers, dip them in boiling water (be careful) and twist them around. Now your tree is unique. More on this in a coming video.

Two bases are included. One that fit my wood bases and one for a free standing tree.

The alive trunks have holes to peg branches to. Use superglue or a hot glue gun. First glue a small piece of paper clip on the branch. Put some glue over the hole on the trunk and place branch. If you are worried about the seam, use putty or your favourite clay to hide it. More on this in a coming video.

To make foliage, there are a number of videos already on youtube. Use a hot glue gun to fasten big chunks of clump foliage. Or wrap the branches with loose chunks of wire wool. Soak the wire wool in glue and apply flock or clump foliage. More on this in a coming video.

I print these with 5% infill.
